Single: Stay Jay – History

Tema native Stay Jay is one of Ghana’s better rappers, only a few cool points behind BET’s ‘Best International Act’ Award winner Sarkodie and the multi-talented E.L. Stay preps the release of his sophomore album, ‘Repetition 2′ with a new hip hop single, ‘History’. Produced by burgeoning beatmaker KillBeatz, the track borrows heavily from The Jackson Five’s 1969 smash hit, ‘I Want You Back’. The seamless combination of upbeat throwback instrumentals and Twi rap lines make for a high octane, nostalgia-inducing audio trip. Repeat, anyone?
