The stage is now set for the much talked about maiden edition of the Street Kings festival, an initiative of X-media and Ayana events. The Street Kings Musical festival, a first of its kind musical concert in Nigeria billed to take place on February 25, 2012 at the popular Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.
The entertainment concept is geared towards thrilling music lovers with an array of A-list artistes which includes the legendary Femi Kuti, Terry G, Naeto C, DIL, Eldee, Cupa Stonce, MI, Sound Sultan, Durella, Goldie, Omawumi, Yemi Alade, Davido, JJC, Shina Peters, Justina, Kween, Skales, So Sick, Benny, AQ, Double Vision and other sensational acts.
Organizers of this epoch event, stressed that one of the reasons for the Street Kings concept was to simply give the average Nigerian, an exciting experience which is also affordable with all their favorite musical icons at a live performance in a one-stop show.
The organizers also pointed that the Street Kings festival aims to provide the youths and teeming population of Lagos a less expensive platform to have unlimited fun with artistes of their choice. The affordable show tickets ranging from a token of #500 for students to #1000 for regulars are available at Beat FM, The African shrine, strategic Tantalizer outlets and TBS – venue of the event.
To this end, the organizers have also embarked on an exciting road show with a live DJ and dancers, driving through major streets within the Lagos metropolis. To ensure adequate security of everyone, relevant security agencies have been deployed to guarantee a hitch free event.
