PayBack Inc Media, the organizers of the Young Entertainment and Music Awards (YEM Awards) today announce the nominees for the country’s most prestigious youth entertainment and music award via its official website, www.yemawards.com Young Entertainers and Music Awards is set out to appreciate those who have contributed to the growth of the entertainment industry and also acknowledge, celebrate, promote and encourage young talented musicians.

“From hundreds of entries for the upcoming category, picking the final nominees was not easy. We ensured that we applied the rules to every entry”, says Fola Folayan, chief jury for the awards.

Up for the most prized category, “Promising Act of the Year” are Rasheed, Korede Bello, Zuki, Cheddaz, Kheengz, Phenom and Ms Chief. While the race for “Producer of the Year” has Legendary Beat, D’tunes, Josh Beats, Beats-By-Jay, G-Maks, Kiddominant and Fliptyce. Brymo, MayD, Joe El, Rayce lead the pack for the “Artiste Of The Year (Male)”, others in the category includes Flowssick, Max Pain, Dammy Krane and Tony Totch. Chidinma, Eva, Muna, Yemi Alade, Maheedah, Tipsy and Dencia are in the race for “Artiste of The Year (Female)”.

The exemplary careers of Chief Dele Momodu(publisher, Ovation magazine), Kenny Ogungbe(CEO Kennis music), D.j Jimmy Jatt, Ayeni Adekunle(founder of BHM and publisher NETng), Ayo Animashaun(Executive producer, Headies Awards), Clarence Peters, Kemi Adetiba and Ifedayo Olarinde (Freeze, coolFM) will be celebrated as they receive the Youth Role Model Award.
